![]() So, you've written a poem, or a story, or a forty page autobiography, and you want SOMEONE to read it besides your sisters (who laugh at you), your teacher (who reads with a red pen in his hand) and your grandmother (who tells you how great it is, but she isn't even wearing her reading glasses). WELL, my fellow writer friends, THIS is the WEBPAGE for YOU!! I have put together a list of MAGAZINES that are sure to LOVE your work and pay you lots of... ![]() Well, okay, they won't pay you any money. And, the truth is they might not even like your writing. Some people don't like MY writing, for instance. But, do I let it bother me? NO! Well, maybe it bothers me for a little while, but then I GET OVER IT. You have to be TOUGH to be a writer, guys, and you have to HANDLE IT when someone rejects your writing. Remember, it's just a person's opinion (and you know how WEIRD some people are). Keep sending your work out if YOU think it's good. THAT'S my best advice. Believe in yourself, yada yada yada. ![]() |
yo, publish!![]() SOME PLACES THAT PUBLISH WRITING BY KIDS...NOTE: The magazines and websites on this list seem pretty cool to me, and many have gotten parent or teacher awards. BUT YOU STILL SHOULD ASK A PARENT OR TEACHER BEFORE YOU SEND YOUR WRITING OUT. Really. ANOTHER NOTE: In the lists below, just click on the magazine title to get to a website that will tell you all you need to know about it (plus a whole lot more, I'm afraid).
