This is a book about me (LUCY!) and my WILDLY wacky life. It takes place in the summer, which is a time when a kid is supposed to go barefoot, catch fireflies, eat ice cream any time of day and go to the beach. But, you know what MY summer is like? Well, for one thing, my WORST enemy, Billy, thinks he is going to MOVE INTO THE HOUSE NEXT DOOR. (Of course, my bff, Taylor, works closely with me to try to keep that from happening.) (Well, sort of.) On top of that, my sister Meghan continually has tizzy fits about, well, EVERYTHING; my grandmother moves in; I have to go to summer camp (for the first time ever!) with my sister Emma who isn't exactly NICE to me; AND my parents WON'T get me a pet ferret, even though I've wanted one forEVER. So, I write in my awesome E-JOURNAL, because writing is a great way to kind of SCREAM about things (or to "express" myself, as an adult might say)...

Anyway, it's a fun book, and it's a paperback--which means you can get one really CHEAP. You can get it at AMAZON.COM, and some bookstores. (Duh! Where ELSE would you get it? At shoe stores?) You could also check with a librarian, because lots of schools and public libraries have this book. (If they're cool, that is.)
